last weekend I went to Kitzbühel Austria with the german & austrian DC team to check out the ressort and the new park park called DC area 43, which is a sister project of the DC mtn lab - pretty nice for the team because there´s a team crib in the valley and the the Kitzbühel Alps are very great so there are many backcountry spots to explore… we just went there to check out the park and to shoot some basic stuff… and of course to have FUN! watch the video teamrider miriam edited with her mac & enjoy!

the new year 2010 started with a invitation to the roxy chicken jam at saalbach hinterglemm austria - europe´s only 6-star TTR event for female snowboarder. so anke from pleasure mag and me went there for the weekend…

the contest was hold pretty close to the city, so there was a good atmosphere and good conditions without any wind and storm. the setup was also fine, a kicker line with 3 jumps and some obstacles afterwards…

riding level was very high, girls like cheryl maas and sarka panchova showed clean and safe spins over the jumps but finally 19 year old enni rukajarvi won the finals!

20th december was the official world snowboard worldwide so a crew of friends and me went to lermoos austria for a happy shred day! follow the link for the german article:

Andre “Jorma” Kuhlmann - sweet Alley Oop

last month the federal press agency of germany invited me and a couple of their young journalists for a trip to berlin…

i arrived sunday afternoon and went to the t-mobile extreme playground where a skateboardcontest was held and a sweet concert line up…

…after contest concert with Deichkind - really stoked about their electronical sound and that live show…

The Day after we had a meet and greet with the responsible persons of press affairs who showed us a couple of interesting places and told us a lot about history and things going on at the german government and the relations between their press work - funny fact: they all get important information every 1-2 hours via SMS!

Last week the Parkdesigners from Stubai Galcier rebulit the Air & Style Kicker in their Park and invited all the Riders who were around Innsbruck to hit it for a Training and Shooting Session! So a bunch of folks like Niki Korpela, Gigi Rüf, Seppe Smits, Kevin Backström, Eero Ettala, Ludwig Leikjner, Forum Team Europe around Peter König, Simon Gruber, Ethan Morgan and Mario Käppeli and many more came around for 2 Days to Ride some Pow and jump the Kicker….

For most of us it was the first Day with POW in the Alps, so we took the first Day off just to ride and enjoy…
